Utterly horrifying, The Taking of Deborah Logan accomplishes something many other larger productions fails to do. It's way of the found footage genre also feels natural and not forced with interesting characters holding the camera. The film gets increasingly ridiculous as it progresses, but it doesn't really matter as it is a thrilling ride. What the film does best is how it times itself at various points, knowing when and how to scare the crap out its viewers. The film absolutely defies logic, but it is the scare that counts, and it will have you clinching onto something the whole time.
